FAQ
How We Keep Freight Moving
Common questions about our logistics process and the daily support your operation receives from RouteMax.
Â
How do you find the right loads for my operation?
Your dedicated advisor studies your lanes, equipment, schedule, and revenue goals, then searches the load boards with that profile in mind. We don’t just fill the truck — we evaluate each load against your targets and present the options that make the most sense for your business.
How do you keep freight moving efficiently?
We plan ahead. By tracking your delivery schedule and preferred lanes in real time, your advisor starts lining up your next load before you empty out — helping reduce deadhead miles and keeping your wheels turning instead of sitting waiting for the next assignment.
How do you negotiate rates on my behalf?
We know what your lanes are worth. Your advisor uses current market data and lane history to negotiate rates that reflect the value of your work, then advocates for you with the broker — so you’re not leaving money on the table or accepting loads below your targets.
What happens when a load changesor falls through?
Freight is unpredictable, and we plan for it. If a load cancels or a schedule shifts, your advisor works quickly to find a replacement that still fits your lanes and timeline — keeping your operation moving and minimizing lost revenue.
How do you handle rate confirmations and paperwork?
We manage the rate confirmations, load paperwork, and documentation so you can stay focused on the road. Everything is organized and tracked, which means fewer errors, faster processing, and less time spent on back-office work.
Can I still choose which loads I take?
Always. You stay in full control. Your advisor presents the options and recommends the best fit, but you decide which loads to accept. We’re here to guide the decision — not make it for you.
